Weighing In With Those That Know Me

I just took the Dr. Phil personality test on Facebook. My resulting personality type was The Shy Worrier. I'm interested in hearing the opinions of those that know me best. Do you agree with this for me? See below for description.

People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything. They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

Ideas, anyone?

I've decided to start using code names for this blog...just as soon as I think of one for child #3. Those of you that know him will understand how hard it is to come up with just one word that captures his personality. If you think of anything, please let me know. Here's what I've come up with for the others:

Husband: Dreamer (He is always dreaming big and doesn't think we can't reach the things he dreams of.)

Daughter #1: Confidence (No, she's not good at keeping secrets. She is naturally confident and I love that about her.)

Daughter #2: Vivacious (Actual definition: lively in temper or conduct; animated, sprightly.)

Son #2: Cutesome (Vivacious made this word up. It's a cross between Cute and Handsome. This is his nickname, too.)

Okay, now think up some good ideas for Son #1! Thanks in advance.

How Could I Refuse?

Yesterday afternoon I put Cutesome down for a nap, hoping he would sleep for more than half an hour. As soon as I put him down, Dynamite said to me, "Okay Mama, here's the plan: I play one of these computer games and you take a NICE nap!" I hesitated for a minute, then realized this was my chance! I started a game for Dynamite and took an hour-long nap! What a difference one hour can make. Hurray!!!!

Confidence

Confidence walked Cutesome around when he was fussy until he fell asleep on her. Unfortunately, he fell asleep moments before we needed to walk out the door to go to church, so he woke up again when I put him in his car seat.

Vivacious's Talent

My mom's blog has a cute entry about Vivacious's talent for memorization. Click here to view her March 14 entry. If you can't see it, email my mom at miller.mayday@gmail.com for an invitation.

Vivacious's Choir Program

Vivacious participated in Tolman's school choir. They practiced two days each week, 45 minutes before school started, for 3 months prior to the performance. It was a big commitment and Vivacious stuck with it all the way to the end without missing a single practice.

The theme for the program was "Americana". The kids learned all sorts of songs that have been popular in America, including "Yankee Doodle", "Fifty Nifty United States", and many, many others. Now she (as well as Confidence) can name all the states in alphabetical order. Vivacious and the rest of the kids did a wonderful job entertaining us.

Her fans included her mom and dad, both brothers and sister, both Grandpas, one Grandma, Aunt Jenny and cousin Emma.

Baby Food!

Cutesome likes his baby food. The orange veggies are much preferred over green ones! Sweet potatoes seem to be his favorite so far.

Vivacious is so good at helping to take care of Cutesome; I sure appreciate all her help.

Taking Care of the Babies

Cutesome fell asleep shortly after Alex started walking him around in the stroller.

My nephew Noah is really good at helping with babies Cutesome & Madeline. He was walking Madi around the cul-de-sac to entertain her since she wouldn't nap.

Isn't he a wonderful big brother?

Vivacious's New Dress

Vivacious got to pick out a new dress. She doesn't get to do this very often, being the younger sister. Usually Olivia wears mostly hand-me-downs, but this time she got to pick out a brand new dress all by herself. She also has a white cardigan to wear over it instead of the white shirt underneath. Isn't she a cute little 8-year-old?

Hey, I just realized that her dress matches my blog background!

The Kite Flew!

Grandpa and Dynamite figuring out the ideal placement of the kite to get it in the air.

Cousin Adam helped Dynamite and other cousin Josh decorate their kites. Dynamite's is named "Trifinity". It's so nice to have older cousins to look up to, to make you feel important and to help you.
